The problem
Mobile brought 78% of sessions but only 41% of orders. Checkout began on a page laid out for a desktop grid, and product photos were cropped differently on every collection page.
What we did
- 01
Designed mobile first, moving add-to-bag into thumb reach and shortening the path from card to checkout.
- 02
Set one crop ratio and one light for every product image, so the grid reads as a collection rather than a pile.
- 03
Gave the lookbook its own template so seasonal stories can be published without a developer.
